Hello, whoever you are. If you're actively watching me, thank you. If you're new to my gallery, hello and I'm sorry. I just packed up my deviations. I've been meaning to do this for quite some time now. Hell, I wanted to deactivate my account, to be perfectly honest. It's hard for me to do that since I've got so many fond memories of the site. Way before it's become what it has. Back when contacting a moderator for issues or questions didn't take days or weeks. Where you weren't prioritized based on a membership. A time when leaving a comment would get a reply in return. Not just a "like". A lot of friends have left this platform and moved on, deleting their account or abandoning it altogether. I'm too nostalgic to follow sooth. I may still post from time to time but my older deviations will remain locked up. For that, again, I'm sorry.
If you've been kind enough to have watched me, or are new and like my art enough to continue watching me, I'm far more active on Instagram or on my Facebook page. Please, feel free to add or watch on either. Let me know you're here from deviantart! I'd love to meet new people. You can find me here at Instagram MayhemOmega. Or my facebook page. I'd really like to reconnect with the folk who've I've known here for so long. Realistically, I don't see that happening. Let me know where you're at! Honestly, I find it a wonder that I've even let this account last this long. Deviantart just isn't the place I used to know and love. Change is inevitable. I get that. So lets skip to 2020, shall we?
Holy cow... to years since my last post, eh? Geeze. A bit has happened since my last journal entry. Both good and bad.
Let's see:
~ Still a security cast member at Disney! Keeping the peace, yo! Still fun working for the mouse
~ Got married. Yes. I put a ring on it, as the song goes. Couldn't be happier 
~ Had 2 cars? lol.. Not exactly a major life event. Gotta' say something though, right?
~ My grandmother is now looking down at myself and the family from heaven. I miss her every day.
~ Jess and I will be in our first home together real soon in less than a month!
~ I've worked on some pretty fun projects for a few major companies and smaller ones. Plus commissions in between. I may post. Who knows
~ Lost a ton of weight XD I'm almost half the guy I was since moving here to Florida. Woo!
~ Went through 2 Laptops for various reasons. Loving the new one I got now. My original one, the one I moved down here with, fried a long while ago... slow ass peice of
~ Had to get glasses! Yep yep. Look totally hot in them too. No lie XD
~ Uhm. More stuff I'm sure
But yea folks. I wonder how many of my pals still stick around and post here regularly. I know a bunch have packed up their galleries and moved on. Lots of people I know gone. Accounts cancelled. And this new look? Come on, dA. Why? Whatever. I'm sure they're happy and proud as a peacock with their 'fun' new style and layout. I went to the original soon as I saw it. Love me some green I tell you h'what!
So what's going on with you? Those who are actually reading this. What have you all been up to. What's new in YOUR lives? What's changed? If you don't wanna' answer here you're more than welcome to PM me and we can go from there!

I'll be honest, kiddos. I don't really see myself posting here much. I might post a little something here and there. The short end of it is - I'm just not feeling dA anymore like I used to. A lot of my friends have gone or cancelled their accounts. Some don't even draw much anymore. I find it difficult myself to really sit down and really get into a project without being interrupted or something comes up where I have to save and leave it alone for God knows how long. To be honest, I've stayed here because I do have some really great friends I've kept in touch with for a while and truly enjoy seeing where they go and what they do post here.
My Mojo comes and goes. It's like that Austin Powers movie where it's just not there.... except I cant use a time machine to get it back. Life has a way of doing that to you when you're in a direction that isn't exactly congruent with art. That does sound a bit like an excuse. I can agree to that. As of right now there are just things that I need to focus on more than my art. I do still have projects, commissions on the side, and personal stuff I work on. And, when I feel they're ready, sure, I'll post them here. I think I need that. I need final works. Not my little doodles and unfinished stuff. I'll reserve "progress shots" to when the actual image is done.
But anyway. I hope you've all been good, safe, and healthy... those of you who still watch/ read what I have to share anyway lol.

*PFFF* SCREW NOVEMBER TOO!
And that happened!
Totally blew through November and didn't even think about it. Was a pretty quick month, honestly. I've finally settled into work. I have a somewhat steady schedule. Wish they'd have me work more - but I'll take what I can get. On a lighter note I've officially started Freelancing! And it's done awesome so far! I've finished a few already and they've been both fun and challenging
But I don't mind, really. It's a great start to what I hope will lead to greater things! I kinda kick myself thinking why I didn't start sooner.. but hey, what're you gonna' do, right? So yeah! November! How was everyone's Thanksgiving? Did you stuff yourselves stupid? I wish I could say that I did. I was at work. It was nice, though. The day went smoothly and when I got home there was some tasty leftovers for me in the fridge. I do miss being able to SIT at a table and enjoy a meal with the family, not gonna' lie. Making that holiday cash is nice but you miss out on together time.
Now we're onto December, eh? What will this holiday month unfold? I think this Christmas I may be off! WOO! We'll see what happens. Maybe I can pick up a shift
Yeah yeah, I know what I said earlier about the "family time" thing. I have PLANS! Gotta make that dough so I can biz-ounce outta' my grandparents place and get one o' my own! I'll work my butt off if that's what it takes! XD Seriously though, I'm doing what I can to continue my journey to get my dream job, find a place, and put that ring on my lady's finger Well... she has one of my rings, hehe I've also got a fun project going on that my fiance and I are working on. We've also got the backup of a couple other friends once we get some things figured out... You know who you are
It'll be fun!SO FOR NOW this journal entry will be brought to a close. We'll see if there's any other fun updates before next year, eh?! Stay safe and keep being awesome!
